Mamufo
since 1995 an international festival
Since 1995, the «Escher Majoretten» organise an international festival for MAjorettes, MUsic and FOlklore called MAMUFO, which takes place in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg). This extraordinary cultural event welcomes each year around 20 majorettes, musical and folkloric teams from all across Europe.
From 2 pm on, the teams parade in the pedestrian zone. This is followed by 15 to 25 minutes long performances on a stage in front of the City Hall.
The «Escher Majoretten» are looking forward to your participation to this multicultural event and await your written registration. Please join a small description and a photo of your team.
As a counterpart, the «Escher Majoretten» will take part to one of your events, with the goal to intensify the friendship between our clubs and reinforce cultural activities as well as keeping the participation fees as small as possible.
As hosts of this event, the «Escher Majoretten» with their Espoir-Team, Show-Team, Drum-Band and Mallet-Band will kick off the show with their «Majoretten-Street-Program» and Samba rythms.
